We are here to help you produce your own original work and to give you the opportunity to use professional equipment, in a supportive and creative environment. You only pay for what you want, when you want it, with no commitment to an annual rent or contracts.

Factory4 has been developed with many of the professionals and hobbyists we have worked with and supported since artsmix* was first established and is backed up by an enthusuatic team. We’ll make you very welcome and will show you how to use the specialist equipment and train you in essential health & safety. They’ll then be about to assist you as and when and if you need, getting involved as much or as little as you like.

Factory4 is a great place to learn new skills, meet creative people, share information, discover opportunities and produce finished goods. All are welcome – individuals or groups.

We hold a variety of courses throughout the year and are always happy to arrange courses tailored to group needs (subject to minimum group sizes – normally 4). Get in touch with Laura and she’ll let you know what’s up and coming and get the ball rolling for you.
When are we open? 
Our opening hours are flexible, with core hours between 10.00am and 10.00pm 7 days a week, 51 weeks a year (we close between Christmas and New Year only). If looking to use the workshop after 5.00pm or on the weekend please be sure to let us know, to ensure appropriate technical support is on hand.

Where are we?The Workshop is conveniently located in Sheepscar, less than a 10-minute walk from the city centre bus station, so easily accessible by bus, and boasts free on-site car parking facilities. We’re down the side of Enterprise Rent-a-car (not far from The New Rosco).
