Building Enterprise through the Arts.

Artsmix is proud to invite submissions from Artists, Crafters, Designers and Creative Enterprises for its prestigious Emerging Artists Awards 2010 

There are four categories of award as follows:

Each Award winner will receive the following prize package:
• Cash Award (£100)
• Showcase, exhibition or private viewing to show and promote their work
• Mentoring sessions with their Award sponsor, an established business expert
All short-listed applicants will also be entered for the People's Choice Award.
 
The judging process will be based on the submission of:
• a finished piece of work - Sculpture, Furniture, Jewellery, Painting,* etc (Product, Service or Business for the Enterprise Award)
• a completed Application Form for your preferred Award category
*The finished work will be required from 5 March to 1 April 2010 unless otherwise advised.
 
Fine Art, Craft Practitioner and Designer Awards criteria include originality (concept and interpretation), quality (skills of making), artistic visual appeal and design, and potential for impact and influence.
 
Enterprise Award criteria include USP, sustainable business idea and forward planning.

The award ceremony will be held on 31 March 2010. Full details will be given nearer the time.

All applicants must have links to artsmix* or have worked with artsmix* since January 2009.

All application forms and finished works must be submitted to artsmix* by 4pm on 5 March 2010.
