We would like to say a massive THANKS to all those who have invested in Artsmix Ventures Limited to make our dream of a regular indoor market a reality, by enabling us to set up Artsmix Ventures to invest in The Loft Leeds. We are really proud to have attracted investors from our membership and the business community, though would stress that money has only come from individuals who believe in what we do, not actual businesses.

Waterfront Success
The Waterfront Festival at Brewery Wharf was a day enjoyed by many, despite the ever-changing weather, and brought further success for artsmix member who reported brisk trading throughout the day – whilst being serenaded by some of the artsmix performers. This memorable day was rounded off by artsmix 4 business’ Gina Yates selling a much admired painting, from our gallery stand, for over £900 just before the close of the event. Well done Gina and congratulations to whoever the lucky owner is too!

artsmix* members can now benefit from the artistic expertise and flair that Gina Yates is offering, through a palette of services for the business community, including art rental schemes, arts & crafts events, corporate gifts. Gina is also looking to develop closer links with the area’s interior designers who are looking for truly bespoke art to enhance interiors as well as developing a portfolio of talent to spice up corporate events.

To present the 2007 Emerging Artists Awards artsmix* held an evening event at the Electric Press Building, Millennium Square. The facilities were kindly donated by Richard Wood, centre manager at the Electric Press Building. Full cooperation and assistance was given by Revolution, Ha Ha! and The Spice Quarter, the bars/restaurants within the Electric Press Building.
