Due to unforeseeable circumstances we have had to wave goodbye to Pudsey markets. Pudsey has served us well over the last couple of years and we'll be sad to see it go. Artsmix are dedicated to finding the best possible sales and promotional opportunities for our artists, designers and craft makers and we still have a lot of great venues to chose from including Castle Howard, Malton and Brewery Wharf...check out our newly updated application form for more details, and watch this space for some exciting new opportunities coming soon!

We've dropped our stall prices for Pudsey market

Hi Everyone,

We've been reviewing our pricing structure and are happy to
announce a huge reduction of stall fees for Pudsey!

A full stall will now cost you just £25 and there's still a couple of spaces for the next market on Saturday 15th May, which will include performances from Light Cliffe Brass Band. We've had an additional banner made also which will be displayed on railings at the main traffic lights in Pudsey Town Centre from the Monday leading up to each market (this is in addition to the banner that goes up in the entrance to the market place)

Malton Arts Market to Bring a New Lease of Life to the Town Centre

On Sunday 16th May, The artsmix market will be heading to Malton Market Place for the first in a series of Art, Design and ‘high end’ Craft markets.
This is an brand new and exciting development for Malton designed to dramatically increase footfall in the area and offer a new and original shopping experience in the town which will compliment rather than compromise existing adjacent retail outlets.

You can expect to see a number of stalls selling original, high quality goods ranging from jewellery, photography, textiles, wood work, design and more.

Events by the Waterfront

After a hugely successful 2009 programme, Brewery Wharf events are back kicking off with Leeds Outdoor Bar Festival on Saturday 15th May from 12 noon.
The festival will feature the second ‘Leeds Best Bartender’ competition, sponsored by Chase Vodka, the winner of which will receive a price to the value of £500. Fantastic food and drink offers from Brewery Wharf’s bars and restaurants put on especially for the day as well as the artsmix urban market where you’ll find modern, unique products including fashion, graphic design prints, photography, jewellery and more.

Local Artist Conjures Art from Our City Streets

oliver neilsonLeeds born artist, Oliver Neilson, will be exhibiting a new collection of his street construction art work in ‘Self-Assembly Yesterdays’ at The Design Innovation Centre, Leeds from 3rd to 25th March.

Oliver’s work is inspired by his native Leeds and adopted Bradford. Both cities offer through abandonment, change and regeneration, objects, materials and imagery for this exceptional artist to transform into unique artwork. Oliver’s reworking of familiar and rejected objects, possessions and building materials links the past to the present and gives value back to the redundant.

‘The city continually constructs, deconstructs, reconstructs.
Its texts, textures, structures and reflections configure and refigure.’
