Miriam Laville
An exhibiting member of The Leeds Fine Art Club. Miriam takes adult art tuition in her private art studio; she is also a workshop practitioner for print and mixed media, working with Leeds City Council and West Yorkshire Playhouse. Miriam bases her work around natural forms and combines different art techniques for experimental and dynamic results, much of her teaching in schools, is with these subjects in mind.
April 2009 – Won special Artsmix Emerging Artist’s Award
April 2009 – Joint Exhibition at Tiger 11 – Beeston, Leeds.
December 2008 – Exhibiting two commissioned artworks for the Arts@ Trinity, Leeds (Group exhibition for Artsmix).
November – December 2008 – Working with Poplar Farms School, Bradford for the Spark Project in association with the West Yorkshire Playhouse and sponsored by Provident Financial.
August – November 2008 – Exhibition at The Bowery Visual Arts – Headingley Leeds.
