Dear Friend,

We are in the process of rationalising our database and have recently installed a new computer system, as we are aware that not everyone is receiving information from us as promptly as we’d hope. Hence we are writing to all of you who have registered for the artsmix newsletter on our website in order to, hopefully, get a little more information about you and to make sure we aren’t over (or under) communicating with you.

Using the attached form, please feel welcome to give us much or as little information as you’re comfortable with. The absolute minimum we need is confirmation of your e.mail address and your name to include you on the new system, though it would be helpful to also have some additional information too. In order to get the right information to the right people we will split our database into three main categories, based on your interests: artists, individuals with an interest in the arts and our events, and businesses with an interest in our services.

We have also recently revised our membership scheme and have elevated ‘interested parties’ such as yourselves, to ‘Associate Members’ entitling you to, limited, benefits – it is our intention to further develop these benefits and we will naturally advise you of any significant changes. It is our intention to send you our monthly ‘The Mix’ newsletter and may occasionally send you e-flyers about upcoming events, press releases or other items of information that may be of interest. We promise you that, as associate members, you will receive no more than one communication a week and that your details will be held securely and will not be handed to any third parties, equally it is not our intention to contact any Associate Members by telephone.

If at any time you wish to be removed from our database please just e-mail sophie@artsmix.co.uk who will remove all your details, in line with the Data Protection Act.
